E-Junkie Review by Dave Navarro

I just read an E-Junkie review by another evangalist Dave Navarro. Dave knows what he is talking about and covers the basics of E-Junkie very well. It’s called, “How To Use E-Junkie.com To Sell Your Stuff and includes some screenshotsTake a look: E-Junkie Review.

E-Junkie Conversion Rates: Does using E-Junkie Increase Conversion Rates?

E-Junkie Increases Sales

I just got done buying an eBook from an author who uses Oak eBooks. I know nothing of Oak eBooks other than my recent experiencing of buying a book from them. It was unnecessarily – one might say unbelievably complex. I could not purchase without registering an account with them. Once I registered the account, I had to verify it via email. I could not use my preferred payment providers (PayPal or GoogleCheckout) and had to use my credit card. I hate using my credit card with merchants that I do not know. I had to fill in details about my address – completely unnecessary for a digital product…

Going through the process, reiterated the benefits of using E-Junkie to sell ebooks, mp3 and other digital products. Ejunkie is quick and seamless for a customer. They do not have to get an account or give away their address or credit card number. And – It’s quick. If a merchant uses E-Junkie as their eCommerce solution their clients can complete their purchase in less than 60 seconds.

The only reason that I completed the purchase with Oak eBooks is that I REALLY wanted the ebook. The author of the eBook came highly recommended and the books topic is 100% relevant to a specific need that I have. I would have jumped through even more hoops to get the book.

That’s the good news.

The bad news? Many purchasers would be put off by the long process of buying the book. The shorter and easier your sales process is the more sales you make. I would say that the author is losing a substantial number of sales by using a complex checkout process. By substantial, I mean several hundred percent.

Look at it this way. If 1 out of every 100 people land on your site and buy your book, you have a 1% sales (or conversion) rate. If you can simplify your sales process and bring your rate up to 3 out of every hundred, you have increased your sales rate 200% to a 3% conversion rate. You can build massive success on increased conversion rates. And E-Junkie has many conversion boosters already built in. The primary one’s are ease of use and speed.

Look, I have nothing against Oak eBooks. They seem like a fine company. And I am likely to do business with them again. But there are many people who will not do so, because they didn’t complete the first order! And both the company and the author have lost out.

67-Day E-Junkie Trial (No Credit Card Required)

Though I am not an employee of E-Junkie and do not represent the company, I have negotiated a coupon code for users of this blog. It entitles you to an addition 60 days of free use, beyond the usual 7-day trial – that’s 67 days of free use. And YES, it’s a fully functional trial. You can begin making money before you pay a dime! I used to post the code online but I had to stop because it was being spread all over the internet…and E-Junkie’s founder did not like that. I don’t blame him.

If you want the 67-day free trial enter your email and you will get an email that contains the code:

Are you having an E-Junkie issue?

Are you having an issue trying to get E-Junkie to do an advanced function for you? Tell me what it is and if I have time, I may create a video on the subject for you. You can either

E-Junkie Affiliate Programs: How To Become An Affiliate

In order to get credit for the sales that you refer to an E-Junkie merchant, you are going to need to join the merchant’s affiliate program. The program will give you a special link that you can use on your website and in your emails that will keep track of each referral. When a person clicks the link, not only does it send them to the merchant’s website, but it makes note of the fact that YOU sent them. Then when the persons buys something – you will get credit for the sale.

In fact, you will get credit even if they do not buy immediately.

You must engage in a quick registration process on E-junkie. Click the Link Below:

http://www.e-junkie.com

1) Click the “Affiliates Tab
2) Then search for the affiliate program you want to join.

When you find one , scroll to the bottom of the page and see their affiliate terms. “Click” to join if you like it:

You should see something similar to the picture below:

1) Login if you already have an Ejunkie affiliate account.
2) If not, you must register. Put in an easily accessible email and create a password. Then click “submit.”

If you’re a new e-junkie affiliate you will see the screen below. Notice that it is asking for an “Activation Code”:

That activation code will be sent to the email address that you specified.

If you do not see the email, then check your spam folder:

Copy and Paste the Code:

Use your number, not mine! Then click submit:

Next create a simple profile. The most important information is a PayPal email address:

If you do not have an address that is affiliated with a Paypal account, do not worry. When you get your first payment, Paypal will send you an email and ask you to create an account. It is very simple. You can then get your money in a variety of ways – send to a bank account, use it pay bills via paypal etc.

Almost done! Get the affiliate code for the program that you want to join:

Your code will look like the one below:

You can copy and paste it, just like you are using a word processing program. Put it on your website, or send it to your webmaster or put it in your email signature.

Please Note:

The code says, “Click here to visit -Merchant Name”:

<a href=”https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/gb.php?cl=94081&c=ib&aff=100462″ target=”ejejcsingle”>Click here to visit -merchant name</a>

You should probably change that to something such as

or

or something similar:

<a href=”https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/gb.php?cl=94081&c=ib&aff=100462″ target=”ejejcsingle”>Click here to but now</a>

Again, the link will track your affiliate sales. How does it do that? Each affiliate gets a code:

I have made the code in bold below. It is a number unique to each affiliate and it keeps track of the sales:

<a href=”https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/gb.php?cl=94081&c=ib&aff=100462” target=”ejejcsingle”>Click here</a>

“When Do I Get Paid?”

Payments are sent according the merchants policy, usually 2-3 weeks after the end of the month in which the sale was made. You will get a notification email.

Please note: There should NEVER be a charge for joining an E-junkie affiliate program. NEVER. Charging to become an affiliate is not allowed for any reason.

Good luck with your efforts!! – Ryan Nagy

E-Junkie Complaints

E-Junkie Complaints

When searching for a new payment processor or thinking of switching to a new processor, you may wonder about potential complaints. In fact, one thing that many people do is get on google and do searches. For example, if you want to find out about E-Junkie, you might search “E-Junkie Complaints” or “E-Junkie Scam.”

I do not think you will find much. I personally run several stores on E-Junkie such as my own personal MP3 Download Store and I have set-up over a dozen client accounts on E-Junkie. I trust the service completely.

Over a year ago, there were some complaints about E-Junkie’s downtime. Several merchants complained that E-Junkie had gone down for an extended period of time and that they lost sales. In response to the complaints and service-interruptions, Ejunkie began using an uptime monitering service to track any issue: E-Junkie Uptime.

Most importantly, however, E-Junkie now runs multiple, redundant servers and on the few occasions recently when there has been “downtime” no customer accounts have been affected. Now, there is a technical term for what they use, I believe it’s called HA Clustering, but I do not know exactly how it works.

E-Junkie Scams

In terms of E-Junkie Scams, the company itself is reliable, safe and 100% above-board. There have been some reports of fraudulent activity, but they had to do with unscrupulous third-parties, not with E-Junkie. The best way to get an E-Junkie account or E-Junkie Trial is to sign-up directly with the company:

E-Junkie Trial

Only sign-up for an account through E-Junkie! Also, E-Junkie has a built in affiliate program and it is FREE. Never pay a fee to use E-Junkie’s affiliate system.

E-Junkie Coupon Code: Two Free Months of E-Junkie

EJunkie Coupons

The E-Junkie 67-day free trial coupon code is now only for newsletter subscribers. My apologies. My agreement with E-Junkie stipulates that I only give the code to people who are my clients or who have a relationship with me via this blog. Please do not share the code on a “coupon” site or post it online. That will just make E-Junkie delete the code.

Get a two month trial of E-Junkie by putting in your email address. You will get the code in just moments:

Again, when registering for your E-Junkie Free Trial there is a “promotional code” box, where you can enter the coupon code: EJVIDEOS and get a two-month free trial, instead of the usual 7-days.

And while you are at it, why not try Ryan Nagy’s EJunkie Video Tutorials. Normally, selling for $19.95, readers of this blog can enter the code: EJLOVE and get the videos at a 50% discount!
